What the job is

This is a Night Shift DC Dispatch Controller position at Dis-Chem Group, a leading pharmaceutical retail company in South Africa. The job is based in Midrand, Gauteng, and involves working overnight hours to manage dispatch operations for the company’s distribution center.

What you will do

You will oversee the dispatch process during the night shift, ensuring that all orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for delivery. You will coordinate with warehouse staff to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflows. You will also monitor inventory levels and ensure that all dispatch records are correctly updated. Additionally, you will resolve any issues that arise during the night shift to keep operations running smoothly.

What you need

You should have experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably in a retail or pharmaceutical environment. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. You must be able to work independently during night hours and handle pressure well. A relevant qualification in logistics or supply chain management would be beneficial.
