What the job is

This is a Sales Assistant position at PEP, a well-known retail company. The job is based at their new store in Lynnridge, Pretoria, Gauteng. You will be part of a team working together to help the store succeed by providing great service and managing daily operations.

What you will do

You will help increase sales by giving customers excellent service and keeping the store looking clean and well-organized. You will make sure products are displayed neatly, priced correctly, and that promotions are set up properly. You will also handle stock to reduce losses by following security and cash-handling procedures. Another key task is working at the till, processing payments according to company rules. You will help maintain a low-cost business by finding efficient ways to run the store. Additionally, you will keep the store safe, clean, and tidy, and work as part of a fast-paced team.

What you need

You must have completed Grade 12 (Matric) and be fluent in English. Basic computer skills are required. While not mandatory, having 1-2 years of experience in retail will be an advantage. You should have a strong passion for retail and be committed to providing a great customer experience. You need to be honest, hardworking, and willing to go the extra mile. You should also be good at planning and organizing your daily tasks, comfortable working under pressure, and able to work retail hours, which may include weekends or evenings.
