What the job is

This is a Landscaping Operator position at Hartbeespoort Aerial Cableway, a company under The Tolcon Group. The job is based in Hartbeespoort, North West Province. You will work under the Facilities Manager to keep outdoor areas well-maintained and safe.

What you will do

You will maintain lawns by mowing, sodding, reseeding, and rolling them. You will operate landscaping equipment and tools. You will plan, plant, and weed gardens, as well as apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides when needed. You will prune shrubs, hedges, and trees to keep them neat. You must ensure all areas are safe, clean, and tidy at all times, following management instructions. You will also make sure all areas receive prompt service as required.

What you need

You must have completed at least Grade 10. You need excellent English language skills. You should have 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar landscaping or maintenance role. You must be friendly, helpful, and a goal-oriented team player. You should be organized, able to manage your own work, and have a certificate of fitness. A medical assessment may be required as part of the hiring process.
