What the job is

This is a position for a Junior Customer Service Agent at BCE FoodService Equipment, a company in the hospitality industry. The job is based in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The company is looking for a lively, energetic, and customer-focused person to join their team and help provide excellent service to their customers.

What you will do

You will process all customer transactions accurately and on time, managing orders from start to finish. You will handle customer feedback, order status updates, backorder reports, and general inquiries while following company policies and procedures. You will build positive relationships with customers and provide professional support. You will also work closely with internal colleagues and other business departments. Additionally, you will take the initiative to resolve customer issues quickly and ensure total customer satisfaction both inside and outside the company.

What you need

You must have a Grade 12 or Matric certificate. A qualification in Sales would be a strong advantage. Previous experience in a customer service department or call center is also a plus. You need excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, and a strong command of English. Attention to detail, accuracy in data capture, and the ability to manage customer expectations are essential. You should be energetic, able to work under pressure, and consistently deliver quality service. Time management skills, problem-solving ability, and being a team player are also important. Knowledge of catering equipment and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office are beneficial.
