What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Digital Channel Specialist at a leading full-service legal firm based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The role focuses on managing the company’s online presence and digital communication strategies.

What you will do

You will coordinate the firm’s presence across all digital and social media platforms. You will help implement the firm’s digital strategy, including research, tactics, and client-facing digital offerings like client portals and online services. You will support the development, coordination, administration, and monitoring of internal digital channels and initiatives. You will report on key analytics, such as engagement metrics and follower growth, across the firm’s digital platforms. You will manage the distribution of content provided by the Marketing and Communications Manager on relevant digital platforms. You will also oversee the management of digital platforms, including the website, social media channels, and bulk mailing systems.

What you need

You need a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Marketing Communications, Communications, or a related field. You must have approximately 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Digital Communications, or Content Marketing. Experience within a law firm, professional services, or another highly regulated corporate environment would be highly advantageous. You should also have skills in Business Development, Content Management, Digital Marketing, Digital Production, IT Knowledge, Market Research Analysis, and Social Media Analytics.
