What the job is

This is a full-time Counter Sales Representative position at ACDC Dynamics South Africa, based in Longmeadow, Gauteng. You will be the first point of contact for customers when they enter the store, providing excellent service and ensuring they leave satisfied. The role is permanent and focuses on selling electrical products in a retail environment.

What you will do

You will greet customers warmly and take their orders. You will need strong knowledge of electrical products to answer questions and help increase sales. You will follow up on orders to prevent delays and keep customers informed about stock availability. You will maintain a clean and organized counter and ensure all brochures and special offers are up to date. You will handle telephone sales, create quotations, and enter orders into the computer system. You will also manage back orders, monitor quotes, and assist customers with any queries they have. Additional tasks may be assigned by management as needed.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate. An electrical qualification is an advantage but not required. Experience in retail or selling electrical products is important. You should have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, and be able to work well under pressure. Good customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential. You must be physically fit, punctual, and pay close attention to detail.
