What the job is

This is a permanent position for a Middle Manager in Management Accounting at Eskom, a leading company in the Electricity, Energy, and Water Supply industry. The job is based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, and focuses on leading financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the Eskom Group.

What you will do

You will manage the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly latest estimate processes for all entities in the Eskom Group. You will also oversee the consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and latest estimates during the monthly reporting process. Additionally, you will compile business performance data and reports, manage projects and ad-hoc operational deliverables, and handle resource management.

What you need

You must have a Bachelor’s Degree, B Tech, or National Higher Diploma in Accounting, Management Accounting, or Finance (NQF Level 7 with 360 credits). You need at least 7 years of experience in reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience with BI/BW (specifically SAP) reporting will be an advantage. Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills are also required.
