What the job is

This is a Branch Supervisor position at takealot.com’s Fulfilment Solutions (TFS) in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The role involves managing delivery drivers and ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced warehouse and delivery environment.

What you will do

You will supervise delivery drivers to ensure they work efficiently and on time. You will manage daily operations, including assigning tasks, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues with parcels or systems. You will also handle staff scheduling, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with safety and company policies. Additional duties include managing returned goods, updating reports, and ensuring all deliveries are scanned and loaded correctly. You will also oversee inbound and outbound warehouse operations, such as receiving stock, verifying orders, and preparing parcels for dispatch.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in fleet control or a similar supervisory role. A qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Fleet Management is a plus. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. You should be punctual, reliable, and able to work under pressure. Computer skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of local routes are also required. A clean driving and criminal record is mandatory.
