This is a job for an AV and Microsoft Teams Rooms Support Engineer at Vision-Tech, a UK-based company specializing in audio-visual solutions. The company designs, installs, and supports AV systems for businesses, schools, hotels, and government organizations. They are looking for someone to join their team and help grow their support services for meeting room technologies across the UK.
What you will do
You will provide remote technical support for Microsoft Teams Rooms and other AV systems. Your tasks will include diagnosing and fixing issues with meeting room technology, investigating hardware, software, network, and configuration problems, and escalating cases when onsite visits are needed. You will also keep detailed records of support tickets and technical documentation. Additionally, you will work closely with customers, field engineers, and project teams to ensure problems are resolved quickly and professionally. You may also help improve support processes and create guides for troubleshooting common issues.
What you need
You should have strong experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms systems, including brands like Lenovo ThinkSmart, HP Poly, Neat, and Logitech. Knowledge of troubleshooting Teams Room accounts, provisioning, peripherals, audio, camera issues, and software updates is essential. Familiarity with management platforms like ThinkSmart Manager, Poly Lens, and Crestron XiO Cloud is also required. A good understanding of Microsoft 365, networking principles, and professional AV systems such as Biamp DSP, Shure conferencing, and Crestron control systems will be beneficial. While certifications are a plus, practical troubleshooting skills and clear communication are more important.
