What the job is

This is a contract position for a Sambassador at Smollan, a retail company based in Johannesburg North, Gauteng. The role focuses on in-store sales and marketing activities to support product visibility and customer engagement.

What you will do

You will maintain shelf health by ensuring products are well-stocked, neatly arranged, and visually appealing. You will implement promotions effectively by setting up displays and ensuring all promotional materials are in place. You will drive sell-out by encouraging customers to purchase products and meeting sales targets. You will handle administrative tasks such as reporting, tracking inventory, and documenting sales activities. You will provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and build strong relationships with clients.

What you need

You must have at least one year of experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) in-field sales and marketing. You need a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. A certificate in Marketing is required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. You should also have good customer service skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively.
