What the job is

This is a Cook position at Empact Group, a company in the food and beverage industry. The job is based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, Western Cape. You will work on a fixed-term contract to help prepare food for daily kitchen operations.

What you will do

You will prepare food for daily kitchen production. You will ensure that the food service provided is of high quality. You will follow food safety standards to maintain hygiene and safety. You will handle special diet requests when needed. You will work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.

What you need

You must have at least 2 years of experience as a Cook in a contract catering environment. You must have experience in customer service. You must have completed Matric (Grade 12). A Professional Cookery certificate will be an advantage. You must know how to work under pressure and follow food safety rules.
