What the job is

This is a job for a Senior DevOps / SRE Cloud Engineer. The company builds and manages large-scale power plants and energy storage projects across Africa. The role is based remotely or in a hybrid setup, depending on your location.

What you will do

You will manage the company’s Azure-based Kubernetes platform from start to finish. You will use Terraform to set up and run production Kubernetes and Azure systems. You will maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including security checks and automated deployments. You will handle monitoring, alerts, and incident responses to keep systems reliable. You will also work with engineering teams to solve operational issues and improve system standards.

What you need

You need at least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, including 2-3 years working with Kubernetes in production and 2+ years on Azure. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Certifications like CKA, CKAD, or Azure Solutions Architect are a plus. You should have strong skills in Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, and Linux scripting. Experience with Azure services like AKS, Key Vault, and Entra ID is essential.

What you will get
