What the job is

This is a job for a Store Manager at a well-known and fast-growing company in the hair and beauty industry. The position is based in Cape Town, Western Cape. The company is looking for an experienced and results-driven person to manage the daily operations of a busy retail store.

What you will do

You will oversee the daily running of the retail store, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. You will manage a team of staff, helping them perform their best and meet sales targets. You will be responsible for achieving commercial goals and managing key performance indicators (KPIs). You will handle stock control, administration, and ensure the store runs efficiently. You will also work to improve store profitability and maintain high standards in customer interactions.

What you need

You must have completed Matric or Grade 12. A Diploma or qualification in Retail Management, Business Management, or a related field is a plus. You need at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role. Experience in hair, beauty, cosmetics, fashion, or another premium retail environment is beneficial. You should have a proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing KPIs. Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills are essential. You must be good with computers and familiar with POS and retail management systems. You should also be able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays when needed.
