This is a job for a Quality Assurance Officer at a leading company in Gauteng, South Africa. What you will do

You will conduct audits and risk assessments for the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) and SEDEX requirements. You will maintain compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SEDEX systems. You will control and approve suppliers and service providers, ensuring they meet the required standards. You will train staff on these systems and ensure everyone follows the rules. You will also manage document control, compile reports, and drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and environmental practices. Additionally, you will handle legal compliance, manage the SHE team, and conduct external audits for suppliers and clients.

What you need

You need a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field. A qualification in Quality Management or Health and Safety Management is also required. You must have at least 4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role. Strong report-writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are essential. You should be goal-driven and have technical knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SEDEX standards.

What you will get

The salary for this position is between R18,000 and R20,000 per month. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to work with a well-established company in the manufacturing industry.
