What the job is

This is a job for an Internal Sales Representative at Kontak Recruitment, based in Ermelo, Mpumalanga. The role involves working in a busy branch environment to drive sales growth, manage customer relationships, and provide excellent service. What you will do

You will generate sales by engaging with customers and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts. You will promote products and services to customers in assigned market sectors. You will prepare accurate quotations, process customer orders, and ensure all sales documentation is completed correctly. You will also maintain strong customer relationships, respond to enquiries promptly, and follow up on quotations, orders, and deliveries. Additionally, you will plan daily sales activities, monitor progress against targets, and keep accurate sales records.

What you need

You must have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate, and a Sales or Marketing qualification would be beneficial. You need at least 3 years of experience in an internal sales or telesales environment. You should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, strong customer service and relationship management skills, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities. You must be computer literate, with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, and have strong administrative and organisational skills. The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential.
