What the job is
This is a full-time position for a Maintenance Scheduler or Maintenance Planner at Worldwide Positions. The job is based in a factory in Pretoria, specifically in the Babelegi area. You will work in a fast-paced flexible packaging manufacturing plant, where your main focus will be on planning and scheduling maintenance for machines and factory equipment.
What you will do
You will create and manage maintenance schedules to ensure all machines and factory equipment are serviced and repaired on time. You will coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance activities without disrupting manufacturing processes. You will track maintenance needs and prioritize tasks based on urgency and production demands. You will also ensure that maintenance records are accurately kept and updated.
What you need
You must have completed Matric (Grade 12). You need previous experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment. A good understanding of production processes and machine maintenance requirements is essential. You should have strong computer skills, especially with MS Office and software like SAGE. You must have your own transport and a valid driver’s license. You should be willing to start work as soon as possible and currently live in Pretoria North or the surrounding areas.
