What the job is

This is a Teller position at Fidelity Services Group, specifically within the Fidelity Cash Solutions division. The job is based in Vredendal, Western Cape, and is a permanent role. You will report to the Branch Manager and work at the Vredendal Branch. The main purpose of this job is to count and verify money for clients.

What you will do

You will ensure that all cash processing procedures are followed correctly. Your daily tasks will include counting and verifying money, balancing and reconciling cash amounts, operating money counting machines, and packing ATMs. You will also be responsible for adhering to company policies and maintaining accuracy in all financial transactions.

What you need

To qualify for this role, you must have a clear criminal record and a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. You should be computer literate and have at least 2 years of experience as a cashier or in a similar role. The ability to work under pressure is essential. Additionally, you must be honest, reliable, and have good verbal and communication skills. Attention to detail, numeric skills, and the ability to follow instructions accurately are also required. You should be self-motivated and willing to work overtime when needed.
