What the job is

We are hiring a Data Analyst with a strong focus on Power BI to join iOCO in Johannesburg. This is a 12-month contract role where you will work with data to create reports and dashboards that help the business make better decisions. You will be part of a team that uses modern technology to solve real-world problems.

What you will do

You will design and build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. You will gather business requirements and turn them into clear data visualizations. You will extract, analyze, and interpret data from different sources. You will write SQL queries and use DAX to create calculations for reports. You will also ensure data accuracy, fix data quality issues, and work with stakeholders to provide insights that support decision-making.

What you need

You need experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst with strong skills in Power BI, SQL, and data modeling. You should be familiar with Power Query, DAX, and creating KPIs and metrics. A degree or diploma in Data Analytics, IT, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Experience with tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake is a plus. You must have good communication skills to explain data insights to both technical and non-technical teams.
