What the job is

This is a job for a Waiter or Waitress at Pedros, a restaurant opening a new location in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will be part of a team helping to launch this new store, working in a fast-paced and exciting environment. What you will do

You will greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional way. You will present menus and explain any special dishes or promotions. You will take accurate orders for food and drinks from customers. You will serve meals and beverages quickly and correctly. You will check on customers during their meal to ensure they are happy. You will clear and reset tables after customers leave. You will process payments when needed. You will handle any customer complaints in a calm and professional manner. You will keep the dining area clean and tidy at all times. You will work closely with the kitchen and cashier teams to ensure smooth service.

What you need

You should have good communication skills and be able to speak clearly with customers. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurants is preferred but not required. You must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends. You should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well in a team. You need to be able to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
