What the job is

This is a job for a Waitron at Pedros, a restaurant opening a new branch in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will be part of a team that helps launch this exciting new location. The role is based in Polokwane Central and offers a chance to grow with the brand in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do

You will greet and seat customers in a professional manner. You will present menus and explain daily specials to guests. You will take accurate food and drink orders and serve meals and beverages promptly. You will check on customer satisfaction during their meal and clear and reset tables efficiently. You will process payments when needed and handle customer complaints in a professional way. You will also maintain cleanliness in the dining areas and work closely with the kitchen and cashier teams.

What you need

You should have good verbal communication skills and some experience in hospitality, though this is not required. You must be able to work flexible shifts and have strong interpersonal skills. You should be customer-focused, able to multitask, and handle conflicts calmly. A professional appearance and emotional intelligence are also important for this role.
