What the job is

This is a Coordinator position at Pedro's, a well-known restaurant chain. The job is based in Polokwane, Limpopo, and is part of the team opening a brand-new store. It is a permanent role where you will help manage daily operations and be part of building a strong team culture from the start.

What you will do

You will greet customers warmly and make a good first impression. You will take orders accurately, whether in person, through the drive-thru, or for online pickups. You will serve food and drinks neatly, correctly, and on time, making sure orders match receipts and special requests. You will keep the counter, dining area, and presentation stations clean at all times. You will follow food safety and hygiene rules, work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow, and restock items like cups, lids, sauces, and napkins. You will also handle minor customer concerns politely and escalate issues when needed.

What you need

You should have strong communication and customer service skills, with good attention to detail and accuracy. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage your time well, and multitask. Teamwork, cooperation, and problem-solving skills are important. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, along with strong leadership and organizational abilities. You should also be able to work independently and handle basic cash transactions and POS systems.
