What the job is

This is a Cashier position at Pedros, a restaurant company opening a new store in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will be part of a dynamic team helping to launch and grow the business in this location. What you will do

You will process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system. You will handle cash, card, and digital payments, issue receipts, and manage refunds or exchanges when needed. You will promote special offers and suggest additional products to customers. You will manage customer queues, resolve basic complaints, and keep the counter area clean and organized. At the end of each shift, you will balance the cash and submit reports to ensure everything is correct.

What you need

You should have strong numeracy skills and preferably some experience as a cashier or in retail. You need to be honest, pay attention to detail, and handle stress well. Good communication skills and a focus on customer service are important. You should also have a professional appearance and attitude.
