What the job is

This is a cashier position at Pedros, a restaurant opening a new store in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will be part of a team launching this exciting new location and help build a strong store culture from the start. The role is permanent and based in Polokwane.

What you will do

You will process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system. You will handle cash, card, and digital payments and issue receipts. You will promote specials, upsell products, and manage customer queues effectively. You will resolve basic customer complaints and keep the counter area clean and organized. You will also balance cash at the end of each shift and submit reports.

What you need

You should have previous cashier or retail experience, though this is not required. You must have strong numeracy skills and a professional appearance and attitude. You need to be honest, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure. Good communication and customer service skills are essential.
