Administration Assistant & Customer Liason
Job Description
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an Administration Assistant & Customer Liaison. The Administration Assistant & Customer provides comprehensive administrative and operational support within a logistics environment. This position involves supervising staff, managing stock, ensuring operational efficiency across multiple sites, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff duties (weighbridge and operational) in the absence of a site supervisor.
- Manage stock accountability and distribute reports to customers.
- Order office essentials and manage the office.
- Ensure adequate weighbridge staffing.
- Maintain weighbridge cleanliness and accurate FEL readings.
- Resolve staff issues (technical and personnel).
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
- Scan and upload RMTS documents.
- Conduct site visits to ensure operational order, including printer maintenance.
- Supervise train loading operations.
- Ensure FELs are fueled and checked before train loading.
- Provide guidance and support to weighbridge operators.
- Assist with clocking system issues.
- Send release documents to Transnet.
- Correct data entry errors from the weighbridge.
- Maintain the weighbridge roster.
- Ensure weighbridge cleaning schedules are adhered to.
- Scan customer loaded-out tickets.
- Communicate with customers.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Administration.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant programs.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Customer service skills.
