Site Distribution Manager
Job Description
You will be responsible for the timely and quality distribution of goods, encompassing administration, warehousing, sub-contractor management, and fleet maintenance.
This role ensures high customer satisfaction and competitive advantage in goods distribution by continuously reducing distribution costs.
Key responsibilities include planning and managing logistics, stock control, export distribution, fleet maintenance, budget management, accident reporting, and warehousing. You will oversee service schedules, driver certifications, and compliance with policies and regulations, contributing to operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Essential Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
- Diploma / NQF level 6 in Distribution / Transport Management / Supply Chain Management
- Min 6 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of transport and logistics to BNLS countries
- Knowledge of transport into the rest of Africa
- A good understanding and ability to interpret financial reports.
Computer literate – advanced Excel required, intermediate Word, PowerPoint and MS Office
