Are you meticulous and proficient in accounting practices?
Our client in the automotive industry is looking for a dedicated general ledger administration clerk to join their dealership.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records.
- Reconcile petty cash received.
- Process transactions to the general ledger and creditor accounts.
- Load creditor payments on the bank.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations.
- Allocate and process payments for workshop and parts.
- Load various payments on all banks, including buy-ins, trade-ins, settlements, refunds, workshop and parts invoices, and other monthly invoices.
- Handle floorplan reconciliations.
- Perform vehicle stock reconciliations, including bonnet checks.
- Create order numbers for workshop and parts supplies, consumables and stationery.
- Follow up on all queries, including unprocessed workshop and parts invoices and outstanding documentation.
- Ensure timely release of payments on specific dates.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Matric certificate.
- Minimum of three years of experience in an automotive environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
