Job Description


Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Employment Equity Administrator to join the Head Office team. The main purpose of this role will be supporting the Employment Equity Function by providing administrative support and coordination to the Employment Equity Manager.

 

Minimum Requirement:

Essential:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • 2 – 3 years relevant working experience in a similar environment 
  • Excellent Excel Knowledge

Advantageous:

  • Basic understanding of EE legislation
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Administration 


Job Specification…

  • Prepare Employment Equity files, include the EE Plan, EE Reporting to Department of Labour, Policies and Registers.
  • Assist with Department of Labour Inspections including the preparation of documents and consolidation thereof.
  • Update all attendance registers quarterly (Regionally and Nationally)
  • Update and maintain the Employment Equity representative Tracker of who has received training, date appointed as an EE Representative, term of office expiration.
  • Maintain different WhatsApp groups within the different operating companies for all regions.
  • Consolidate and update tracker of EEA1’s received to share with payroll department.
  • Assist with drafting of Employment Equity Agenda.
  • Arrange Flights, Accommodation and Venue for EE roadshows.
  • Create, maintain and prepare monthly employment equity reports by department/region and group. (Pivot tables and graphs).
  • Adhoc reporting (pivot tables and graphs).
  • Ensure files are continuously updated and ready for audit.
  • Ensure that documents are filed correctly.
  • Compilation and record keeping of minutes.
  • Ensure minutes are typed and accurately reflect what was discussed.
  • Assist with editing of PowerPoint presentations.
  • Assist the EE Manager with data for annual reporting to the Department of Labour
  • Provide administrative support in relation to Employment Equity
