This role is suited to a retired /semi retired individual with a solid track record gained in the maintenance and repairs of electronic equipment.
The role includes carrying out various electronic workshop tasks including assembly, repair, fault finding, calibration and testing of electronic equipment.
Duties
- Assembly, installation, repairing, troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic components and systems
- Reading circuit drawings
- Sourcing and fabricating replacement parts
- Completion of documentation
- Various other duties in the workshop
Required
- Solid track record in electronics/instrumentation
- Min Grade 12, plus national diploma in electronic communication/applied electronics/instrumentation – essential
- Min three years’ experience in electronic repairs
- Pref one year’s NDT experience
- Unendorsed driver’s licence
- Willing to travel from time to time
- SAP and CRM
Must currently reside in the Vereeniging area.
