Cost Accountant – Renewable Energy
Job Description
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Cost Accountant to join a leading Renewable Energy Firm. As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing cost data, preparing budgets, and providing cost-effective solutions to maximize profitability within the renewable energy industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting and analyzing financial data to determine costs of renewable energy projects
- Preparing budgets and cost reports for management
- Identifying areas for cost optimization and recommending strategies
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost allocation
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of financial models
The ideal candidate for this role has a strong background in cost accounting, experience within the renewable energy sector, and a thorough understanding of financial principles and regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also required.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional designation such as PA or CIMA
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting
- Experience within the renewable energy sector is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
