The Instrumentation Development Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the design, development, and production of test equipment within the Technical Department. Reporting to the Instrumentation Manager, this individual plays a crucial role in driving innovation, ensuring the efficiency of production processes, and fostering a performance-driven culture within the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the team in the research, design, development, integration, test, and qualification of Windows-based test equipment
• Drive innovation and improvement of measurement systems
• Manage obsolescence of equipment
• Collaborate closely with Design Engineers in R&D, QA, and Production to ensure efficient production testing of designs
• Ensure delivery of measurement systems meeting performance and timescales as per project requirements
• Develop a performance-driven culture within the team (on spec, on budget, on time)
REQUIREMENTS
• B. Eng. (Electronics), B. Tech (Electronics) or Equivalent
• 10 years’ experience in the design, development, and production of test equipment.
• Strong management skills
• Design and testing of electronic circuits (analogue, digital, and RF)
• Experience in measurement principles and systems
• Programming skills in assembler, C, C++, Visual Basic, and Delphi
• Visual Studio & LabVIEW
• Database development skills & SQL
