Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Media Sales professional to join the team of a multi award-winning Media Sales House, focusing on their Digital Properties in the Audio and Digital Media sector.

Key Performance Focus

You will be required to Compose, Sell and Manage online media campaigns to media agencies and clients direct with the aim of achieving set marketing objectives and sales targets, with an acute focus on maximising online Adspend across the Media House’s digital portfolio from both a direct and programmatic perspective. In addition to this, to develop new and existing relationships with digital media agencies to generate new and increased online media spend from these media agencies and clients

Requirements

  • A proven track record of outstanding performance at a leading South African media owner in digital sales (Online and Mobile) – with consistent achievement of reaching and exceeding revenue targets
  • At least 3 years of agency / client interfacing digital media sales experience
  • Experience and high working knowledge of Programmatic and Direct Digital sales
  • Experience of presenting to large and small audiences of various levels within a business
  • Expertise in and ability to interpret research analysis: Narrative; Google
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities
  • Above average problem-solving ability and negotiation skills at a senior level
  • Thorough understanding of marketing processes and the Digital Media landscape. Be decisive in your decision making abilities
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and telephonic
  • Be highly proactive with an engaging personality – and a strong ability to build client relationships.
  • Hold a valid Drivers License, have your own reliable car and have the ability to travel, if required
