Auto Electrician
Job Description
Hire Resolve’s client, a leading mining company, is currently seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join their team based in the Northern Cape.
Requirements:
– Senior Certificate (Grade 12) / N3 Certificate in Engineering
– Auto Electrician Trade Test
– Dover B Symbol
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Carry out technical repairs and upkeep of electrical wiring and electronic components in support vehicles and earth-moving machinery.
– Perform asset care activities as required by the EAMS system, ensuring timely and accurate feedback and documentation for all stakeholders.
– Install, diagnose, maintain, and repair auto electrical equipment in accordance with planned maintenance and breakdown work orders.
– Complete daily inspection checklists for tools, equipment, and work areas.
– Gather, verify, and accurately record information.
– Organize and file documents following established procedures.
– Adhere to disciplinary, behavioural rules, and company procedures.
– Conduct risk assessments within the designated work area and scope of responsibility.
– Follow safety, health, and environmental regulations.
– Identify and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions in the work environment.
– Actively participate in safety meetings.
– Ensure compliance with quality standards and contribute to operational excellence.
