Intermediate Front-end Developer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an intermediate front-end developer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team in Johannesburg. This role offers a hybrid work model, providing the flexibility to work both remotely and from the office.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using React, Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences.
• Implement responsive and high-performance UI components.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues while ensuring best coding practices.
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends.

Key requirements:

• Three+ years of experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in React, Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Vuex, Redux, or Pinia.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Understanding of modern development tools (Git, Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
