Job Description


We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operations Supervisor in the food industry to join our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and operations management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in their food production facility and ensuring that all production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of food production operations, including scheduling, production planning, and quality control
  • Supervise a team of production staff, provide training and support to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with procurement team to ensure timely ordering of raw materials and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized production facility in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and cost savings
  • Ensure all production equipment is maintained and in good working condition
  • Collaborate with leadership team to develop and implement strategies for business growth and expansion
  • Monitor and address any production issues or challenges in a timely manner to minimize disruptions

Qualifications:

Matric with a minimum of N5
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food production operations management
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
