Our client is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their team in Stellenbosch, WC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing logistics, and supporting various business functions, including administration, research, and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers and retailers.
  • Conduct stock takes and manage inventory levels.
  • Oversee logistics, including sending out parcels and stock to retailers.
  • Handle social media campaigns and assist with business growth initiatives.
  • Conduct research and development, including publishing medical papers and overseeing clinical trial logistics.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
  • Perform basic accounting and administrative tasks.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Work with vendors to procure necessary materials and services.
  • Optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
  • Develop and implement streamlined operational procedures.
  • Assess and enhance workflows for continuous improvement.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvements.
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators.
  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
  • Track project timelines and milestones.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations coordination or a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle pressure with a positive attitude.
