‘n Goed gevestigde maatskappy in die konstruksie- en infrastruktuursektor is op soek na ‘n ervare SHEQ Bestuurder om toesig te hou oor en die Veiligheid, Gesondheid, Omgewings- en Gehaltebestuurstelsels (SHEQ) van die organisasie te handhaaf. Hierdie rol is noodsaaklik vir risikobestuur, regsvolg, omgewingsverantwoordelikheid en die handhawing van diensgehalte oor al die maatskappy se bedrywighede. As jy ‘n passie het vir veiligheid, ‘n sterk agtergrond in regulatiewe nakoming, en die vermoë het om SHEQ-inisiatiewe regdeur die organisasie te dryf, is hierdie ‘n geleentheid vir jou!
Ligging: Sandton, Gauteng
– Hulle sal tussen verskeie terreine reis, insluitend een in Gauteng: Sandton, Bedfordview, Rivonia.
Salaris: R60 000 per maand

Sleutel Verantwoordelikhede
- SHEQ Bestuurstelsel Implementering & Toesig
- Verseker dat alle SHEQ-besluite en riglyne van die Uitvoerende Span en komitees geïmplementeer word.
- Ontwikkel en bestuur langtermyn SHEQ strategieë, beleide en prosedures om in lyn te wees met maatskappydoelwitte.
- Verseker voldoening aan Suid-Afrikaanse wetgewing en regulasies, en dat alle projekte voldoen aan wetlike en veiligheidsvereistes.
- Hersien en werk SHEQ Bestuurstelsels en Wetlike Nakoming gereeld op.
- Leierskap & Spanbestuur
- Motiveer, bestuur en mentor SHEQ-personeel op alle vlakke.
- Goedkeur en toesig hou oor SHEQ implementeringstrategieë en opleidingsprogramme.
- Verskaf informele opleiding aan SHEQ- en maatskappypersoneel soos benodig.
- Verseker dat die maatskappy ISO-sertifisering behou deur voortdurende ouditering en nakoming.
- Risiko- & Nakomingsbestuur
- Hou die regulerende omgewing voortdurend dop vir veranderinge in wetgewing, regulasies en tegnologie, en gee toepaslike advies en aanpassings.
- Voer maandelikse terreinouditte uit om voldoening aan Beroepsgesondheid & Veiligheid (OHS), Konstruksieregulasies, COID-wet en Omgewingsregulasies te verseker.
- Lei voorvalondersoeke, gevare-identifikasie en risikobepalings om werkplekgevare te verminder.
- Verslagdoening & Prestasiemonitering
- Stel maandelikse verslae saam en dien dit in by die Raad en Uitvoerende Bestuur oor SHEQ-aktiwiteite, nakoming en veiligheidsprestasie.
- Verskaf weeklikse verslae aan Kontrakbestuurders oor lopende SHEQ-aangeleenthede.
- Hou toesig oor die maatskappy se TUV Rheinland Jaarlikse ISO / Verifikasie-ouditte.
- Volg sleutelprestasie-aanwysers (KPIs) rakende nakoming, doeltreffendheid, werwing en werknemersverhoudings.
- Opleiding & Ontwikkeling
- Bied werknemeropleidingsprogramme aan om SHEQ-bewustheid en bevoegdheid te verbeter.
- Verseker personeelontwikkeling deur afrigting, mentorskap en nakomingstraining.
- Belyn individuele prestasie met maatskappydoelwitte en beste praktyke in die industrie.
Minimum Vereistes
- Diploma/Graad in Gesondheid, Veiligheid en Omgewingsbestuur (noodsaaklik).
- 3-4 jaar ervaring in die residensiële konstruksiesektor.
- Eie vervoer en geldige bestuurslisensie (noodsaaklik).
- SACPCMP Registrasie as CHSM (Gesertifiseerde Gesondheid & Veiligheid Bestuurder).
- SAMTRAC-kwalifikasie.
- Meestersgraad in Gesondheid, Veiligheid & Omgewingsbestuur (voordelig).
- Sterk kennis van:
- Beroepsgesondheid & Veiligheidswet (OHS-wet).
- Konstruksie Regulasies.
- Wet op Vergoeding vir Beroepsbeserings & Siektes (COID-wet).
- Nasionale Omgewingsbestuurswet.
- Wet op Mynveiligheid en Gesondheid.
- Basiese Diensvoorwaardeswet & Arbeidsverhoudingswet (voordelig).
Vaardighede en Eienskappe
- Sterk probleemoplossings- en analitiese vaardighede.
- Minimum kundigheid in voorvalondersoek & risikobepaling.
- Vaardigheid in Werkswaarnemings en SHEQ Ouditering.
- Soliede kennis van ISO 9001, ISO 14001, en ISO 45001 standaarde.
- Ervaring in interne ouditering.
- Sterk leierskap, mentorskap en kommunikasievaardighede.
- Vermoë om onder druk te werk en verskeie take effektief te bestuur.
- Hoë aandag aan detail, organisasie en nakoming van regulasies.

Key Responsibilities
- SHEQ Management System Implementation & Oversight
- Ensure all SHEQ resolutions and directives from the Executive Team and committees are implemented.
- Develop and manage long-term SHEQ strategies, policies, and procedures to align with company objectives.
- Maintain compliance with South African laws and regulations, ensuring all projects adhere to legal and safety requirements.
- Regularly review and update SHEQ Management Systems and Legal Compliance.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Motivate, manage, and mentor SHEQ staff across all levels.
- Approve and oversee SHEQ implementation strategies and training programs.
- Conduct informal training for SHEQ and company staff as required.
- Ensure the company maintains ISO certifications through continuous auditing and compliance.
- Risk & Compliance Management
- Continuously monitor the regulatory environment for updates in legislation, regulations, and technology, providing necessary advisories and adjustments.
- Conduct monthly site audits, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Construction Regulations, COID Act, and Environmental Regulations.
- Lead incident investigations, hazard identification, and risk assessments to minimize workplace hazards.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Compile and submit monthly reports to the Board and Executive Management regarding SHEQ activities, compliance, and safety performance.
- Provide weekly reports to Contract Managers on ongoing SHEQ matters.
- Oversee the company’s TUV Rheinland Annual ISO / Verification audits.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compliance, efficiency, recruitment, and employee relations.
- Training & Development
- Conduct employee training programs to enhance SHEQ awareness and competency.
- Ensure staff development through coaching, mentoring, and compliance training.
- Align individual performance with company goals and industry best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management (essential).
- 3-4 years’ experience in the residential construction sector.
- Own transport and a valid driver’s license (essential).
- SACPCMP Registration as a CHSM (Certified Health & Safety Manager).
- SAMTRAC qualification.
- Master’s Degree in Health, Safety & Environmental Management (beneficial).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHS Act).
- Construction Regulations.
- Compensation for Occupational Injuries & Diseases Act (COID Act).
- National Environmental Management Act.
- Mines Health & Safety Act.
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act & Labour Relations Act (beneficial).
