LOGISTICS PLANNER (National Manufacturing)

Our national client requires a suitably qualified and experienced Logistics Planner to join their Head Office team in Pinetown.  Must have direct OPSI experience, as well as a relevant Logistics qualification, and at least 3-5 years’ experience managing logistics plans and in-house fleet management across three major centers (Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town).

Duties include preparing weekly logistics plans, liaising with Production, Sales and Recollect departments, monitoring daily logistics to ensure that KPI targets are met, monitoring and tracking the fleet to ensure that maximum efficiency is being achieved, updating the database, working on OPSI updating Plato and Zeno. Updating and revising schedules.

This is a fast-paced and highly pressurized environment and requires the ability to be agile and re-direct as the business requires.
