Sourcing Specialist/Buyer
Job Description
We are seeking two experienced Sourcing Specialists/Buyers to join a dynamic Procurement team. Ideal candidates will have experience in the Construction or Property sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials, goods, and services efficiently and cost-effectively
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and trends
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery
- Resolve procurement-related issues and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all sourcing activities and transactions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sourcing Specialist/Buyer
- Experience in the Construction or Property sectors
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and supplier capabilities
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and contract management
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
