Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Engineering Supervisor (Fitter) to join their mining company based in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Follow safety standards in all operations.
- Support a Zero Harm culture through safe practices.
- Define roles, assign tasks, and recognize contributions.
- Work with maintenance teams on equipment strategies.
- Ensure equipment maintenance meets guidelines.
- Detect and address early equipment failures.
- Inspect equipment and plan corrective actions.
- Improve efficiency and reliability continuously.
- Complete and submit PTOs on time.
- Manage the section’s budget efficiently.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Fitter Trade Test Certificate
- Foreman Certificate or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience within the mining industry in a Metallurgical Plant.
- 3 years’ Supervisory experience
