Marketing Manager
Job Description
You will report to the GM of Sales & Marketing and will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic category management, customer service oversight, and effective marketing execution.
This role requires proactive analysis of market trends to identify opportunities, develop product and category growth strategies, and manage outbound marketing activities to enhance brand presence and sales performance.
- A B.Com or BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications, Administration, or a similar field is required.
- At least five years of proven experience in roles such as Marketing Manager, Product Manager, or Customer Service Manager.
- Previous experience working for a global entity will be an added advantage, though not mandatory.
- You will have experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector with a solid technical understanding of product ranges.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data management is essential
- Alongside expertise in consumer insights, brand strategy, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or WebTrends is preferred.
You will exhibit excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills, a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently.
Attributes such as team collaboration, problem-solving, and meeting tight deadlines are critical. The role also requires confidence, initiative, and a drive for results.
Responsibilities include managing product categories and lifecycles, leading marketing strategies, coordinating customer service operations, and ensuring effective team communication.
Authority to approve branding, new product catalogues, and product research ensures alignment with company goals and market demands.
