Our client is seeking a dedicated new and pre-owned vehicle sales executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles by understanding and demonstrating their characteristics, capabilities, and features, developing and qualifying buyers, and closing sales.
Requirements:
- Completed Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
- Valid driving licence.
- No criminal record.
- Proven experience in vehicle sales or a similar sales role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for automobiles and an in-depth knowledge of vehicle features and specifications.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Selling new and used vehicles as per targets.
- Ensuring accessories are sold with vehicles and targets are met.
- Following consignment processes, including stock sheets.
- Ensuring pre-delivery preparation is up to standard.
- Ensuring all documentation is completed to standard.
- Ensuring that customers have all required documentation, Natis papers and spare keys.
- Following up after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring any after-sales queries are dealt with and the customer is satisfied.
- Managing trade-ins: Concluding with appraising the vehicle with the manager and assisting in finalising bringing the car into stock and settlements, i.e., submitting all relevant documents in time.
- Managing CSI and CEM (Customer Experience Monitoring). Achieving the same CEM score targets as expected by VCSA.
- Assisting with outdoor displays.
- Converting showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests, and matching them to the most appropriate car.
- Understanding the characteristics, capabilities, and features of all cars, and providing potential customers with detailed information, including comparing different competitive models.
- Taking customers on test drives and demonstrating vehicle features.
- Building rapport with potential customers.
- Assisting customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed.
- Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets.
- Undertaking workshop duty.
- Acting as an ambassador at all times.
