Secondary Cleaning Supervisor
Job Description
You will oversee and manage cleaning operations, ensuring schedule adherence, quality standards, and departmental goals.
The role involves planning, organising, and supervising resources effectively to maintain operational efficiency.
- You must hold a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent with a
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory cleaning role.
- A strong ability to prioritise and handle pressure is essential,
- Along with attention to detail, leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
- Computer literacy is required.
The role encompasses managing stock and inventory, scheduling and inspecting cleaning tasks, planning resource allocation, and handling complaints.
You will maintain equipment, ensure proper cleaning agent usage, and address staff performance and training needs.
Additional duties include managing attendance, disciplinary actions, and conducting bi-annual performance appraisals while fostering a positive team environment.
Ideally, you will demonstrate initiative, organisational excellence, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards while promoting staff development.
