Process Technician-East London
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our team in East London. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in process operations, automation and laboratory procedures.
Key task and responsibilities:
Provides on-site routine technical service at define customer line.
Performs consignment inventory, manages, records and maintain all related consumption data at customer processes/ lines
Supports forecasting and supply process (material order) where applicable
Maintains quality/ efficiency level of products and escalates technical challenges
Acts as a first window person between customer line and field sales
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years’ process/ application experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in automative plant
- 1+ year experience in laboratory
- Diploma/ Degree in Analytical Chemistry
- Sales experience will serve as an advantage
