Internal Sales Representative

Join a dynamic and growing steel supply company with a strong presence in the industrial and construction sectors. We are seeking a motivated internal sales representative to manage and grow our client base, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Actively promote and sell the company’s range of steel products to both new and existing customers.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring repeat business.
• Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers as needed.
• Process customer orders and quotations accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the external sales team and other departments to meet sales targets.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify new sales opportunities.
• Ensure all administrative aspects of sales are up to date, including invoicing, delivery scheduling, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Sales experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in internal sales, preferably in steel or industrial sectors.
• Industry knowledge: Knowledge of steel products or industrial materials is a strong advantage.
• Technical aptitude: Ability to understand technical product details and provide hands-on assistance when needed.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Customer focus: A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating long-term relationships.
• Team player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Computer skills: Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with experience in CRM systems being an advantage.
