Hire Resolve’s client, a reputable mining company in the North West is looking for a skilled and experienced Safety Officer to join their mining team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety programs and policies
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
  • Identify and address potential hazards and unsafe acts
  • Provide safety training and education to employees
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend preventive measures
  • Ensure compliance with mining safety regulations and standards
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Diploma in Safety Management (Advantageous)
  • COMSOC 1 & 2/SAMTRAC
  • Blasting Ticket (DMR)
  • 5 years’ experience as a Safety Officer in an Underground Mining environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License
