Account Manager – Safety Sales

Our client, an international leader in safety technology is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their sales team to drive sales and increase market share!
Requirements:
- Matric (Mathematics HG, Science and Economics)
- National Diploma or Degree in Health & Safety / Engineering / Business Management
- Min 2yrs external sales/account management in the following industries – PPE / Mining / Engineering is required
- Valid Drivers License with Own Transport
- MS Office literate + CRM system
Responsibilities:
- To generate orders for the geographical area assigned through the management of customers
- Active development of customer relationships
- Develop and maintain relationships with key end customers, other relevant bodies, and sales channel partners (distributors) to ensure maximum sales potential is realized
- Main interface regarding devices / solutions, utilizing all necessary company resources
- Focus on the sales of company products
- Responsible for sales budget and prepare sales forecasts for the assigned area
- Participation in marketing events
- Generate/manage the sales process, negotiate and close deals
- Provide product and application training on conclusion of sale
- Monitor market / competitor analysis
- Completing a weekly sales planner and report to the RSM
- Continually updating the CRM funnel, analysing of sales, markets and product data
