Vehicle Stock Controller

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced vehicle stock controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume dealership and a strong background with brands such as Toyota or Volkswagen.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
• High-volume dealership experience is essential.
• Specific experience with Toyota or Volkswagen is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual stock takes of all vehicles.
• Update and maintain the stock sheet daily.
• Monitor and control the delivery and release of vehicles and their keys.
• Input accurate vehicle information into the system for each vehicle received or released, including VIN, make, model, year, mileage, colour, and extras.
• Examine vehicles for damages or service requirements.
• Manage supplier orders and payment requisitions.
• Update vehicle service histories and mileage records regularly.
• Ensure vehicles displayed on the dealership floor are clean and neatly presented.
• Provide regular progress reports to the sales team and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
