A seasoned production manager is required by an advertising agency in Stellenbosch. The agency specialises in the marketing of shopping centres, so the pace is fast and the deadlines tight, necessitating a highly organised, focused and capable production manager to manage our studio output.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, flexible, very organized, detail-oriented, a strong problem solver and able to work well under extreme pressure.
Requirements
- Duties include overseeing the various processes of print and procurement aspects including promotions, displays and exhibits.
- The Procurement Manager must accurately manage, guard and follow-up the critical path to delivery to client, giving the creative department and the marketing team reasonable timeframes while proactively and timeously raising concerns regarding process flow.
- Follow-up and continuously update adjusted procurement and print dates.
- Follow up with suppliers with regards to riggers and reference imagery of sites, making sure correct sizes are fed back to studio for timeous delivery of artwork to the field.
- Supplying the correct contact and delivery information to suppliers/broker for courier delivery specifically, ensuring a secondary contact number and person is available on-site.
- Coordinate and organise with suppliers to review quotations or pricing, ensuring the best pricing is relayed to client.
- Following up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of such quotations to the field.
- Drive the delivery of innovative new products to the marketing team and studio
- Giving creative input during brainstorms regarding production
- Responsible for closing of jobs (invoicing)
- Laison with finance department to ensure suppliers are paid on time
- Previous experience in the Print/Procurement OR Events Industry is requires
- Experience working with Chase advantageous
