Job Description:
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to oversee the department and take responsibility for estimating and managing tenders for our client’s company in Durban.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the accurate preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring all costs are carefully estimated and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the QS department and manage day-to-day operations.
• Lead the preparation of tender documents and cost estimates.
• Review and analyze project specifications and drawings for accurate costing.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to gather information for tenders.
• Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on estimating and tendering.
• Strong knowledge of CCS (Construction Computer Software) or similar estimation tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
