Job Description


The Business Development Africa role is a hybrid position designed for resourceful and ambitious “intrapreneurs” who thrive in dynamic, competitive environments.
 
This role is central to introducing and leveraging innovative products and solutions across African markets, with a particular focus on both developing regions and long-term expansion opportunities.
 
You will be a self-starter with natural negotiating skills, capable of building strong connections and driving growth in countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and Mauritius. In addition to these regions, there is a strategic long-term focus on expanding into the rest of the islands and potentially East Africa.
 
This role involves expanding the customer base while optimising their supply chains through Lean principles and innovative replenishment systems.
 
Cross-border travel is essential, requiring a valid passport and the ability to manage export processes and communicate across language barriers. Internally, meticulous management of customer information, CRM updates, pricing accuracy, and effective complaint resolution is expected.
 
You will be confident, curious, adaptable, and commercially astute, with the drive and initiative to leave a lasting impact on the company’s growth trajectory in both current and future focus regions across Africa
